The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Fresh eggs from the resident chickens and lovely chat with the owners made it feel like home. The room was lovely and clean, perfect for a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the New Forest.
If you crack open the windows, you'll hear a bit of the busy road out front, but it quietens down at night and didn’t dampen our spirits!

Busy road makes walking challenging at night. noise levels can be disruptive. En-suite shower room is small, leaving little room to maneuver.

We had a comfortable stay in a spacious King room with our kids and pet. The area is fantastic for cycling around the New Forest or fishing, and breakfast was a delight—especially those eggs from their own chickens!
In my wife’s opinion, having a small play area for kids would be great.

One downside was the en-suite shower room, which felt a bit cramped during our stay, making it tricky to move around comfortably.
